Microsoft’s Global Security Operations team is looking for a highly motivated and talented professional to take a lead role in shaping and applying the future of physical security. Protecting Microsoft and its people from harm is what motivates us every day. Our team has people from diverse backgrounds who want to digitally enable our business to proactively assess our security risks, mitigate threats, and plan strategic responses.
In this critical role, the Regional Security Manager will manage security operations across borders and help drive the digital transformation agenda. This role requires a growth mindset for shaping a technology strategy to enhance the customer experience and the overall effectiveness of physical security.

• Act as the digital transformational leader of security operations by inspiring others within your region to embrace change and leverage the digital advancements to improve the quality of security services
• Take a customer-obsessive approach to creating and executing a site security strategy
• Encourage a global team of talented security professionals to deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency and the cost effectiveness of operations
• Assess site security operations to ensure the safety of Microsoft and its people
• Determine how to best leverage vendor services and ensure high-quality delivery
• Apply a data-driven approach to review intelligence, conduct threat assessments, and plan responses for the protection of the highest security threats and emergencies
• Identify opportunities to apply automation and AI to improve Microsoft employee’s experience with security operations while maintaining safety standards
• Develop highly effective partnerships with business leaders to co-create solutions that support security business objectives
• Establish local networks of private and state security agencies with expertise in crisis management to support the protection of people, assets, and business operations
